About the Role:

As a Professional Services Developer Advocate, you will play a lead role in working with our partners and large customers as they leverage the Motive API endpoints. This position enables you to become an expert on our product APIs and establish strong relationships with our partners while they build new integrations, resulting in increased value for our customers.  The ideal candidate would be comfortable performing the technical activities in addition to project managing the end-to-end go-to-market motion for each integration.   

What You'll Do:

  • Help third-party developers be successful in integrating with the Motive platform APIs to create the best integration between the two systems 
  • Provide guidance and technical training to implementation teams to follow best practices, including troubleshooting any issues
  • Cultivate a successful partner relationship, from initial partner onboarding to ongoing relationship management and expansion
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders including marketing, legal, product, and customer support on integration go-lives
  • Share your development knowledge through webinars, blog posts, reference guides
  • Gather lessons learned and incorporate them into the Engagement Model
  • Update internal and external facing integration 

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience working with customers in a sales engineering, post-sales, solutions/ support engineering role
  • Strong understanding and experience with authentication methods, integration standards, and transports (OAuth 2.0, SFTP, Soap/Rest APIs, XML, and JSON)
  • Individuals who love sharing their knowledge and advocating for developers
  • Prior experience leading multiple projects in a global organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting, and advising, as well as flawless written communication
  • BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT
  • Experience with end-to-end GTM release processes is preferred
  • PMP certification or the equivalent preferred
