award-winning, action-packed and loved-by-every-child-on-Earth series PAW Patrol is
entering its second decade of production, with BIG plans ahead!
We’re looking for a Designer to join us on PAW Patrol!
Responsibilities:
• Work with Art Director and Design Supervisor to design 3D characters, props and
environments in the style of the show
• Produce character, prop and location designs in various forms from rough
concept to finished rotations
• Produce character expression and pose sheets to assist animation
• Visualize locations clearly so they can be interpreted by storyboard artists and
the modeling department
• Integrate and modify pre-existing assets from our library to maximize reuse and
production efficiency
• Interpret scripts and assess story-specific design needs for locations and prepare
annotated location maps and designs for storyboarding needs
• Collaborate with Design Supervisor and design team to develop a consistent look
for the show
• Contribute substantially and decisively to the evolution of the show design
• Demonstrate commitment to creative collaboration in a time-sensitive
environment
• Take on various art tasks other than character, prop and location design (location
illustrations, cover art, layout, mock-ups etc.)
Qualifications:
• Excellent drawing and design skills
• 5+ years previous 3D animated series experience is a must
• 5+ years experience with Photoshop as well as working knowledge/experience
with Toon Boom Harmony and 3D software such as Blender is a plus
• Experience on a minimum of two 3D children’s series and knowledge of 3D
modeling
• Excellent creativity and demonstrated ability to generate innovative concepts and
ideas within given delivery timeframes
• Able to design within certain specifications (maintaining pre-determined
proportions and keeping within an overall look)
• Ability to productively discuss, make decisions, and communicate ideas in a wide
variety of aesthetic areas
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Experience with Matte Painting a plus
• Experience generating Mood Boards/Color Scripts for the Directors to hit the
desired look of the show is a plus

Contract duration: Fixed-term contract of approximately 10 weeks.
Expected compensation: $1450 - $1550 per week, depending on experience and role requirements.
