We are seeking a talented, dynamic, resilient and result driven Demand Planner based in our Milton, ON location (Onsite).
The Demand Planner is a key member of the ROCKWOOL North America Supply Chain organization, responsible for building high‑quality demand forecasts that support both business (TYCE) and operational planning. This role combines strong analytical skills, statistical forecasting, and commercial collaboration to create an aligned, consensus demand plan that drives service, inventory, and capacity decisions.
The Demand Planner will also play an important role in improving our demand planning capabilities. As we move toward a more detailed, data‑driven, and longer‑horizon demand planning process, this role will help shape and embed best‑in‑class forecasting practices across the business.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 CAD. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
Your future team:
You will become part of the Supply Chain Planning team and will be reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Director.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain accurate SKU- and customer-level demand forecasts using statistical tools and clean historical data.
- Track forecast accuracy and bias, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Produce rolling short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts to support service, inventory, and capacity planning.
- Help improve and standardize the demand planning process, data, and models across the business.
- Prepare and present demand insights, risks, and opportunities in the monthly Demand Review / S&OP process.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Operations, and Finance to align on assumptions and resolve demand/supply gaps.
- Cleanse and structure demand data and support the maintenance of demand-related KPIs and dashboards.
- Support ABC classification and other analytic routines to improve planning quality.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in demand planning tools, reports, and ways of working.
- Share best practices and help elevate planning capabilities across the Supply Chain Planning team.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical capability and comfort working extensively with numbers and data.
- Hands‑on experience with statistical forecasting (e.g., time‑series methods, baseline generation) and historical data cleansing.
- Hands-on experience in AI/ML‑based forecasting tools is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, APO/IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, or similar) and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a strong asset.
- Understanding of core demand planning concepts: forecast accuracy/bias, seasonality, product lifecycle, promotions, and segmentation.
- Strong ownership mindset, clear communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth environment.
