The Product Analytics leverages product data to surface actionable insights about our users and products, empowering data-informed decision-making across 1Password. The Product Analytics squad brings together Product Analytics, Data Science, Analytics Engineering, and Data Engineering partners. We collaborate with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define success metrics, improve telemetry and data quality, build self-serve reporting, and translate product behavior into clear recommendations.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US. This position will be for 4 months - January to April 2027.

How we’re using AI today
On the Finance team, we’re using AI to drive productivity, scale insight, and deliver better decision-making across 1Password. AI helps us move faster and sharpen our thinking, from summarizing context and pressure-testing assumptions to turning complex inputs into clear executive-level narratives. We bring AI into our work thoughtfully, improving repeatable workflows while staying accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and controls behind every output, creating space to focus on judgement, strategic partnership, and meaningful business outcomes.

What you can expect:

• Partner with Product Analytics and Data Science team members and product partners to define questions, success metrics, and measurement plans.

• Analyze product usage and telemetry data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Communicate findings clearly through written analyses, presentations, and recommendations for product and cross-functional teams.

• Build or improve dashboards, reports, and self-serve analyses using tools such as SQL, Looker, Amplitude, and Hex.

• Support data quality and telemetry validation, helping ensure product data is reliable and well understood.

• Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion.

• Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them).

• Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.

• Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team!

Bonus points for:

• Basic familiarity with machine learning or advanced statistical methods.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Python or R for analysis.

• Familiarity with product analytics or BI tools such as Amplitude, Looker, or Hex.

• Coursework or experience in statistics, experimentation, or A/B testing.

While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part.
