We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data Solutions team in the Wealth Technology group at CI Wealth. The Data Solutions team focuses on developing data-driven solutions, driving innovation, and uncovering key insights to support strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in leveraging data to deliver solutions that enhance decision-making, streamline business processes, and support strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both data analysis and business processes.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover key insights that drive business objectives. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable solutions. 

  • Develop and maintain data processes that enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. 

  • Document and maintain data mapping specifications and business rules to support data governance efforts. 

  • Assist in building reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor key metrics and trends. 

  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend data-driven improvements. 

  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and data requests in a timely and effective manner. 

  • Partner with Data Engineers to support the successful implementation of solutions. 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

 

Experience 

  • 2+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis. 

Education/Training 

  • Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details. 

  • Solid understanding of data and data modeling. 

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the following tools: 

  • Visualization e.g., Sigma, AWS Quicksight 

  • Modelling e.g., MS Excel 

  • Database system e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake 

  • Cloud Technology e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL 

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Python. 

  • A strong analytical mindset and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an asset. 

  • Ability to work within an organization based upon continuous improvement. 

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $95,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. In addition, The Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

This role follows our inoffice work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.
