The Data Analyst is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and translating General Motors' social data into actionable performance narratives and optimizations. They will establish measurement framework standards, monitor community sentiment, and measure business impact across campaigns.

The Opportunity

Analytics, Measurement & Reporting

  • Deliver regular project-based performance reporting across all brands (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports).
  • Track and evaluate the performance of boosted paid social content to inform future media and strategy decisions.
  • Build custom analytics dashboards and campaign wrap decks to prove ROI to client stakeholders.

Social Listening & Insight Generation

  • Conduct social listening to track audience sentiment, brand health, and emerging conversations.
  • Identify real-time community engagement trends and flag potential brand risks alongside the community management team.

Agency & Client Collaboration

  • Collaborate with client and agency partner teams to share quarterly content performance presentations.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations to refine publishing calendars, posting cadences, and creative formats.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-4 years of data analytics experience with a strong focus on social media channels and digital marketing metrics.
  • Proficiency in social listening, analytics tools, and reporting platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Meltwater, Sprout Social, Native Platform Analytics).
  • High analytical acumen with an ability to translate raw numbers into compelling strategic narratives.
  • Native fluency in French and English with deep knowledge of Quebec culture.

Vacancy status: This posting is for an existing vacancy
Salary: $65K - $70K per year.
Final compensation will be based on a candidate's experience, skills, scope of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs.
