Job Description

Customer Supply Chain Associates work in collaboration with sales, logistics, plants and production planners to manage and fulfill orders. CSCAs work directly with multiple customers and territory sales reps to provide the highest level of customer support.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Order management including monitoring, tracking and updating shipping dates using multiple excel spreadsheets including a comprehensive dashboard for daily actions

  • Constant and proactive communication to internal and external customers regarding order and shipment status

  • Develop strong customer relationships, which may include some travel across North America for customer/site visits for the purpose of understanding their businesses, addressing any concerns where possible and highlighting potential issues and possible solutions

  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure a smooth order process by problem solving to expedite as required using various data sources

  • Navigate a complex supply chain network consisting of 12 plants and 2 distribution centers

  • Use excel to provide daily customer reports

  • Utilize multiple systems for order entry and to verify customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc.

  • Leading projects using structured problem solving methodology (Lean Six Sigma)

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to problem solve and “think outside the box”

  • Good organization skills

  • Ability to handle a high volume of emails and orders

  • Strong/proven analytical skills

  • College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role with direct experience managing orders and customer relationships

  • Practical experience with MS Office (intermediate excel skills) and detail oriented research abilities

  • Strong customer focus and excellent relationship building skills

  • JDE experience is an asset
