Job Description

The Customer Supply Chain Associate will be responsible for working with customers on a day to day basis and handling inquiries received from customers to ensure that products and services are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers to handle day-to-day inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, plants and production planners to manage and fulfill orders
  • Order management including monitoring, tracking and updating of shipping dates using multiple excel spreadsheets including a comprehensive dashboard for daily actions.
  • Order management including monitoring and updating of shipping dates and communicating updates/changes to internal and external customers.
  • Responding to customer inquiries by phone and email
  • Develop strong customer relationships and addressing any concerns where possible and highlighting potential issues and solutions
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Preparing customer related reports and analyzing customer trends
  • May require some travel within North America
  • Utilize multiple systems for order entry and to verify customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc.

Our Ideal Candidate :

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset and is preferred for this role
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong customer focus relationship-building ship building skills.
  • High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to contact customers over the phone and build long-term customer centric relationships.
  • Ability to problem solve and “think outside the box.”
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of emails and orders.
  • Strong/proven analytical skills
  • Practical experience with detail-oriented order entry, and detail-oriented research, face to face customer interactions.
  • College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
  • Prior experience with customer facing corporate supply chain roles preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Familiarity with JDE, Power BI and Salesforce is an asset.
