One of Canada’s Most Trusted Investment Brands.
At Picton Mahoney Asset Management (PICTON Investments), being alternative isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
Founded by industry pioneer David Picton, we’ve spent 20 years challenging conventional wisdom and redefining the investing landscape. As one of Canada’s most trusted investment brands, we are proudly independent—privately run, 100% employee-owned, and deeply committed to delivering results for our clients.
Thinking Alternatively is in Our DNA
With a team of 223 bold thinkers—one-third dedicated solely to investment management—we are specialists, not generalists. Managing over $17.8 billion (April 30, 2026) for institutional and retail clients, we navigate markets with conviction, resilience, and a forward-thinking approach.
We’re more than investors — we’re innovators. We challenge traditional investment mindsets, constantly pushing the boundaries to achieve our mission: To bring greater certainty to investors.
Our success is built on four guiding principles:
- Treat investors’ money like our own.
- Redefine the way investors invest.
- Be human—always approachable.
- Succeed together, one investment at a time.
These aren’t just words—they define how we think, how we invest, and how we work.
Now, we’re entering our next chapter. We’re transforming our brand and reshaping the way the world invests. If you think alternatively, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in a dynamic, bureaucracy-free environment, join us and be part of what’s next.
Thriving in Our Entrepreneurial Culture
At PICTON Investments, you’ll thrive in our creative and dynamic workplace, where collaboration and support are at the core of everything we do. At our firm, you’ll have the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, work in a flexible environment, and tackle challenging projects from the outset. Our culture is designed for ambitious professionals who want to make an immediate impact while continuing to push boundaries and achieve our greater mission. You’ll be empowered with a high level of responsibility, trust, and flexibility, providing an exciting and creative space for you to help reshape how the world views alternative investments. With competitive total rewards, performance-based bonuses, and a clear path for career growth, you’ll have everything you need to develop both now and over the longer term.
The Opportunity
We're growing our CRM engineering capability and looking for a hands-on Salesforce professional to join our sales technology team. You'll work directly within our Salesforce environment — building flows, configuring objects, writing Apex, and maintaining the integrations that keep our sales and service operations running.
This is a practical, build-focused role. You'll partner with sales leaders, operations teams, and business stakeholders to translate real operational challenges into clean, scalable Salesforce solutions — across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
The expected annual base salary for this role is 100,000-110,000 with the final number depending on your experience, skills, and education. On top of that, you’ll be eligible for our discretionary bonus program.
At PICTON Investments, being employee-owned means we take care of our team and offer opportunities for top performers to participate in our equity ownership program over time. Eligible employees get access to a full benefits package, including profit sharing, health and wellness coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off and holidays, learning and development programs, and more, many of which are fully covered or subsidized by us.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn and lead
- Build and maintain automated workflows using Salesforce Flows, with growing exposure to Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Configure and maintain Salesforce environments across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC) — managing objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and permission sets.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics views that give sales teams and leadership clear visibility into pipeline and performance.
- Support the configuration and upkeep of third-party integrations including RingCentral, Riva, and Marketing Cloud.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders — translating operational needs into documented, actionable Salesforce solutions.
- Support UAT cycles, assist with stakeholder demos, and help deliver user training for new features and process changes.
- Support data management including imports, deduplication, and data quality governance
- Help migrate workflows and manual processes — including Excel-based reporting — into integrated Salesforce environments.
- Maintain technical and workflow documentation, keeping CRM processes clearly documented for the wider team.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and data support for sales leadership and cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Explore and begin contributing to AI-driven automation opportunities using Agentforce under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support Marketing Cloud-related initiatives that connect sales and marketing engagement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
What we're looking for
A technically capable builder with solid Salesforce fundamentals
You have a solid foundation in Salesforce administration and configuration, and you're building confidence in development. You understand how CRM systems connect to real business processes, and you know how to work with non-technical stakeholders to get things built right.
You also bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, ideally in a sales-focused or financial services environment.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (Platform Developer I a strong plus).
- Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and turn them into well-scoped Salesforce solutions.
- Comfort working in cross-functional teams alongside sales, operations, and marketing colleagues.
- A proactive mindset — you identify problems before they escalate and suggest practical improvements.
Nice to have
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or regulated industry environments
- Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Agentforce or Data Cloud or Slack
- Familiarity with territory management configuration
- Experience presenting solutions or supporting executive demos
- Financial services domain knowledge (banking, insurance, or fintech)
