What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of professional experience in customer facing or operations role, preferably in the credit or financial services industry.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for furnishing data to TransUnion and provide support to customers, sales, and other TU teams.
  • Excellent customer management skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • A proven understanding of the operations function, with previous experience in banking, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries considered an asset.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of large and small projects simultaneously.
  • Capability to maintain regulatory compliance in a complex environment with a demonstrated understanding of credit reporting laws and regulations.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work under minimal if any direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of credit reporting is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical and reporting skills.


We would love to see:

  • Previous experience with Salesforce and/or Metro 2® credit reporting.
  • High level of computer literacy and excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated environment.
  • The ability to analyze moderate to complex data using logic and quantitative reasoning, and an intuitive capacity for problem solving.

Expectations within the first 90 days:

  • Gain an understanding of industry guidelines, our core systems and operational processes.
  • To achieve this, you will work directly with our data furnishers to evaluate file failure errors, update furnisher information, and support our internal stakeholders with a variety of daily operations.


Core Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Effectively advocate for industry standards and best practices across internal and external stakeholders, as well as build relationships and provide solutions that meet our customer needs.
  • Mentor newer associates and sett the standard of an exemplary associate.
  • Handle daily requests submitted by furnishers and internal stakeholders, along with assisting in our proactive data quality reviews, new furnisher onboarding and credit data investigations.
  • Be the subject matter expert of a highly accomplished credit reporting support team that will play a key part in helping the team ensure data quality and adherence to industry guidelines for external stakeholders.
  • Self-sufficient in functionality, guidance only required on the most complex of tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Data Acquisitions department and its operational interdependencies within the organization.
  • Review, analyze, and translate requirements into TransUnion terminology while developing project milestone dates and track completion of deliverables in each phase.


This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
