About Phoenix

Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers.
If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to help drive Phoenix's exciting growth plans. In this role, you’ll conduct media and market analysis to define and execute a creative testing roadmap. You’ll also collaborate closely with marketing managers, media buyers and lifecycle marketers to run and test growth experiments, developing a growing understanding of the key motivators behind purchase decision making in the category.

We believe that a mix of data and creativity is key to a strong growth engine, so we’re looking for someone with a solid growth marketing background and a knack for coming up with creative ways to capture attention across different mediums.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of creative testing across marketing channels.

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop high-performing ad creatives that convert.

  • Deepen your understanding of our customer personas to better empathize with their pain points.

  • Collaborate with other marketing and cross-functional teams to gather insights that enhance our lifecycle marketing efforts.

  • Conduct research across competitors, alternatives and other key leaders in Direct-to-Consumer marketing to ensure our creative strategy evolving with the market.

  • Be a key contributor and leader in developing new and innovative concepts to drive the business forward.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative production environment, either managing a creative team or collaborating closely with them.

  • Worked closely with creative production teams to develop eye-catching landing pages, emails, or quiz funnels that drive action.

  • A solid understanding of multiple digital marketing analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Google / Meta Ads

  • Use of tools to support briefing creatives effectively like Magic Brief, Motion, Foreplay, Notion, Asana etc

  • A proven history of developing and iterating on winning creatives.

  • Proven track record of growing conversion volume within CAC targets

  • You’ve done it before, at scale. You have some hard-won lessons from the industry, and bring a deep understanding of performance marketing.

  • Skilled at clearly presenting results, insights, and opportunities.

  • Familiar with the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing startup and know how to thrive in it.

  • You’re passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare experience and have a personal connection to the space.

Why Work at Phoenix?
  • A Rewarding Mission: Through our asynchronous care model, Phoenix is reimagining patient-centric care for Canadians across the country by making diagnoses and treatment delivery faster, more accessible, and completely discreet.

  • Impact & Autonomy: You’ll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who’ve seen the ups and downs of building a business and genuinely care about your growth. You won’t just execute — you’ll help shape the future of Phoenix and Raven.

  • Collaborative In-Office Culture: Based in the heart of downtown Toronto, our HQ team comes together on-site five days a week to build fast and push what’s possible. We love the fast feedback loops, spontaneous brainstorms, and actually knowing the people we work with. Bonus points if you’re into the occasional foosball tournament or have strong opinions about the best lunch spot in the neighbourhood.

  • Competitive Pay, Real Benefits: Our compensation bands are backed by real market data, so offers are competitive and fair. Our benefits package includes standard healthcare coverage, a remote-first holiday season, and holistic wellbeing support — such as a wellbeing allowance and flexible additional time off to care for loved ones, support mental health, observe meaningful religious and cultural holidays, or when life just happens.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Phoenix team! While we are lucky to attract a high level of interest in each of our roles, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
