Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

In this position, you’ll be based in the Toronto Bay Street office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. The Corporate Actions Operations team forms part of our Issuer Services business and plays a critical role in supporting corporate action transactions for our clients.

This team is responsible for the operational execution of complex client deals, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, regulatory requirements are met, risks are controlled, and client expectations are delivered on time. Working alongside client-facing teams and a highly collaborative group of experienced professionals, you'll have the opportunity to develop specialized knowledge while contributing to some of the most important transactions managed by Computershare.

A role you will love 

As an Operations Project Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and executing Corporate Actions transactions from initiation through completion. You'll work across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring operational activities are completed accurately, controls are maintained, deadlines are achieved, and all deliverables align with client and regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, solving complex operational challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are exactly alike.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple Corporate Actions transactions simultaneously and prioritizing activities based on deadlines and business needs.
  • Coordinating the operational execution of mergers, acquisitions, tender offers, and other Corporate Actions events.
  • Setting up and maintaining internal systems used to track transaction activity and shareholder submissions.
  • Processing transaction-related activities, tenders, entitlements, and shareholder documentation.
  • Performing reconciliations and validating transactional data, deposits, and share capital changes.
  • Preparing and distributing operational and client reporting on agreed timelines.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies while ensuring strong risk and compliance controls are maintained.
  • Working closely with client-facing Project Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with client agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven operational environment.
     

Preferred:

  • Corporate Actions experience.
  • Stock Transfer experience.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

  • Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is CAD $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. This base pay range is specific to Toronto, ON and may not be applicable to other locations.
