Out-of-Home (OOH) Media Coordinator Role

Role Overview:

 We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented OOH Media Coordinator to join our dynamic media planning team at WPP Canada. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of innovative out-of-home advertising campaigns for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will serve as the central point of contact for vendor communications, creative asset delivery, and campaign tracking, ensuring that WPP’s high standards of creativity and effectiveness are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Logistics:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of OOH and Print campaigns, from issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to confirming installation and monitoring ongoing placements.
  • Collaborate with WPP agencies to align campaign objectives with creative strategies.

Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with media vendors and printers to secure ad space, confirm inventory availability, and ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors that reflect WPP’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Creative Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the WPP planning teams to ensure all deadlines are fulfilled for various OOH formats.
  • Request and coordinate POP (Point of Purchase) and glam shoots for clients, ensuring all creative elements align with campaign goals.

Documentation & Planning:

  • Gather specifications documents and draft Media Planning Agreements (MPAs) for campaigns.
  • Create tactical plans and billing schedules to streamline campaign execution.

 Budget & Administration:

  • Process media buys, manage contracts, track invoices, and ensure campaigns stay strictly within budgetary limits.
  • Utilize WPP’s financial systems for efficient budget tracking and reporting.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Compile post-campaign reports, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and gather research data to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in advertising, media planning, or marketing coordination (agency experience and finance knowledge are strong assets).

Organization:

  • Superior project management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Communication:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for frequent negotiation and stakeholder updates.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong command of MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Co-Pilot.
