Coordinate engineering change management and documentation control, monitor task lists and KMIs, facilitate systems training (ECN/parts list), archive records, monitor customer sites for updates, ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949, perform SAP data updates, and support APQP and Kaizen activities.
- Assist in coordinating all engineering changes, monitor task list to make sure actions are completed by due date.
- Facilitate systems training for ECN and parts list.
- Responsible for maintaining change management KMIs.
- Check customer websites on a regular basis to ensure new information posted by the customer is downloaded and reviewed by the APQP Department. This includes capacity studies, IMDS, prototype and/or sample deliveries, and program timing and deliverables.
- Control, maintain, file, update, and keep track of all revisions and distribution of all documentation, drawings, materials, and specifications throughout the company, including current, obsolete, and in-process.
- Archive documents and/or records and maintain the archive database.
- Keep the Platform Manager and other appropriate personnel abreast of any new or pertinent customer requirements.
- Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
- Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
- Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
- SAP tasks include; updating X-plant material status, drawing documentation (drawing number & revision level, date and ECN Tracker number).
Basic Requirements:
- University and/or college diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to enable amicable customer and interdepartmental relationships.
- Highly conscientious; must be detail oriented.
