Reporting to the Senior Director, eCommerce, the Conversion Rate Optimization Manager will be responsible for merchandising and optimizing the entire customer journey on site from but not limited to: weekly reporting, landing page optimization, AB tests & optimization, on-site search, navigation, and additional site content updates. The CRO Manager will be responsible for keeping the customer experience at the centre of every task; this person will help develop a site optimization strategy to increase site engagements and conversion. This role will partner closely with cross-functional team members from Product, Marketing, Creative, Customer Empowerment and Operations to ensure all site merchandising and product data translate to improved user experience and increased sales. The successful candidate will be data-driven in their decision-making, using data to tell stories, inform strategies + business decisions, and build test plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and deliver site merchandising strategies for Knix to achieve revenue and margin targets, with consideration for customer behaviour, brand aesthetics, and inventory availability.
  • Drive decisions that support creating a compelling purchase path through the entire conversion funnel, including homepage, campaign and landing pages, product listing pages, and product detail pages.
  • Lead work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify web optimization opportunities and build an execution plan to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Act as an SME for testing and optimization by converting data into actionable business decisions.
  • Leverage site analytics to monitor performance and continuously optimize product placement and discoverability (homepage, collections pages, navigation, promotions, product pages) to improve customer experience, maximize conversion and achieve sales targets.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Empowerment and Operations to improve decision support and incorporate customer feedback.
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes.
  • Constantly scan the competitive landscape for best-in-class site merchandising and bring recommendations to the team.
  • Collaborate with Dev/eCommerce product team to QA, test, and make updates as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ eCommerce Merchandising/Digital Optimization/Web analytics experience in eCommerce retail environments.
  • 4+ years of professional working experience in optimization tools.
  • Professional working knowledge of Google Analytics/Web Analytics with strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in making site changes to improve site conversion rate positively.
  • Advanced skill using web analytics and A/B testing to optimize product and category performance and related customer behaviour.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to co-workers
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Shopify Platform is considered a strong plus.
