Job Summary:

As a Contract Recruiter on the Central 1 team (contract, as-needed), you will partner with leaders Central 1 to identify and attract top talent through managing the end-to-end recruitment process. 
 

This role is ideal for a recruiter who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment, while delivering high-quality hiring outcomes. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across a range of technical and corporate IT roles 

  • Source and screen candidates for a wide variety of technical positions 

  • Build strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn sourcing, ATS applications, and referrals 

  • Proactively research and recommend new sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates 

  • Assess candidate skills, experience, and competencies to make informed hiring recommendations 

  • Initiate and lead recruitment intake/kickoff meetings to:  

  • Understand role requirements 

  • Clarify technical skills and competencies 

  • Align on business objectives 

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, including:  

  • Initial phone screenings 

  • Panel and video interviews with hiring managers 

  • Partner with hiring managers to guide decision-making and ensure an efficient hiring process 

  • Establish and support offers and terms of employment 

  • Provide a high-quality candidate experience through clear, timely communication 

  • Utilize Workday Recruitment module to manage requisitions and track candidate progress 

  • Partner effectively with recruitment peers, HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders 

  • Manage hiring needs in collaboration with external recruitment partners or agencies when required 

  • Support additional recruitment-related activities as needed in a dynamic environment 

Engagement Model 

  • Contract-based, as-needed support role 

  • Work volume may fluctuate based on business hiring demand 

  • Expected to ramp up quickly and operate with a high degree of independence 

  • Works closely with internal HR and hiring teams 

 

What you’ll have 

  • 3–5 years of recruitment experience, including full-cycle recruiting 

  • Experience recruiting for in a high-volume or fast-paced environment, for corporate and technical roles 

  • Strong proficiency in LinkedIn sourcing  

  • Experience using Workday Recruitment module or similar ATS/HRIS systems 

  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills 

  • Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates 

  • Passion for talent acquisition and knowledge of modern sourcing strategies and best practices 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles simultaneously 

  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through 

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in ambiguous environments 

  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset 

  • Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience) 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience working within a staffing or agency environment 

Hourly rate: $30.00-$55.00 hourly

The hourly rate reflects the salary range for a fully proficient employee in this position. Placement within the range will depend on market conditions and a variety of job-related factors, including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, education, and training.
