Viral Nation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Talent Content Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate understands what goes into running a successful social media page, and enjoys studying video performance to identify new opportunities for growth. They should be someone who’s creative and analytical by nature, and who enjoys collaborative work with others in a team. Communicating within a structured work environment or agency, and working in a fast paced environment comes easily to them. They are resourceful, responsive, and eager to get the job done - all with attention to the highest degree of quality and details. 

As the Talent Content Strategist for Viral Nation's Creator Studio team, you will be responsible for developing social-first strategies for talent across Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat. You will oversee a portfolio of talent content to schedule and optimize new posts, review analytics, and devise strategies that improve performance. You will ideate around how we can transform their social presence, with a focus on content strategy and content syndication. You must be passionate about captivating audiences with content on behalf of the world’s most influential talents. You will be responsible for keeping talent accounts in good standing and communicating with representatives on social media platforms to resolve issues as applicable. You will collaborate with our in-house editors to ensure content is delivered on time and published according to an agreed-upon schedule. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the entertainment industry and be knowledgeable in social media, influencer marketing, and content creation. You should also have a strong understanding of social platform algorithms and analytics. You may also have first-hand experience creating content and publishing it to various social media platforms.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Work collaboratively with the Junior Content Strategist, Video Editors, and other team members to get the best performance out of talent content across social platforms.
  • Play a vital role in managing the social media pages of the world's most innovative influencer talents; specifically on Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Help talent expand their reach and audiences across social media through content strategy, content syndication, and social media platform utilization. 
  • Analyze social platform analytics, algorithms, and metrics to develop effective content strategies that drive engagement, revenue, and visibility for our clients.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to ensure content is optimized and ahead of the curve.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop social-first strategies and pitch materials for prospective talent.
  • Thoroughly review content before publishing to ensure it meets talent standards, VN standards, as well as platform guidelines.
  • Meet critical deadlines under changing conditions and strong time management.
  • Continuously improve content strategies and best practices across managed accounts, reporting performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Keep talent accounts in good standing and communicate with representatives on social media platforms to resolve any issues as applicable.
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring priorities are set, and timelines are met.
  • Provide creative input and insights to internal teams and clients

You'll Need To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with knowledge of social media, influencer marketing, and content creation.
  • Deep understanding of content syndication and optimization. 
  • Proven track record of developing content strategies that generate results and increase performance. 
  • Ability to devise content strategies from analytics and identify opportunities for growth. 
  • Ability to conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Strong understanding of social platform algorithms and analytics.
  • Experience posting and working with both short-form content and video content. 
  • Proficiency in YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, and Snapchat Studio. 
  • Experience managing accounts on Facebook is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Extremely high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.
