About the team and the role:

You will work on key end-to-end projects that enhance the buying and selling experience on eBay. Collaborating within a product team, you’ll craft clear, consumer-facing content that directly impacts business outcomes and support your solution with a thoughtful, well-rounded POV.

As a full-stack content designer, you know writing is designing. You see language as a design material and as an integral part of the UX Design process. You understand how to evaluate the quality of content design and how to improve it. You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-discipline partners to ensure the work meets all product requirements, iterate through all stages of fidelity, and work towards outcomes.

What you will accomplish:

  • Build effective content solutions that meet team standards and project goals.

  • Deliver high-quality, error-free content that aligns with UX standard processes.

  • Develop a thoughtful point of view and clearly explain your rationale.

  • Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure consistency in the product narrative.

  • Ensure content is accessible and inclusive, working with the Localization team to adapt content for global markets.

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in content-focused roles, with experience in in-product UX content.

  • A portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutions.

  • Experience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction, or a related field.
