The Promotional Programs team leads the creative strategy and execution of Canadian Tire’s weekly national flyer. As a Promotional Programs Consultant, you will develop customer‑centric promotional strategies that support Customer Centric Growth (CCG) and guide creative direction for your assigned business portfolio. You will also lead the planning and execution of Seasonal Guides, ensuring all content aligns with customer needs, category priorities, and corporate objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop customer‑focused promotional strategies for the weekly national flyer and portfolio‑specific Seasonal Guides.

  • Lead theme development, layout direction, and creative planning aligned to category, seasonal, and CCG priorities.

  • Translate flyer calendar themes into customer‑facing layouts and clear creative guidelines.

  • Work with Promo Planning, Production, and Creative to manage page flow and deliver high‑quality print and digital executions.

  • Manage in‑season content changes and resolve issues while maintaining creative integrity.

  • Leverage customer insights, data, and competitive intelligence to inform storytelling and layout decisions.

  • Build strong relationships with Merchandising, Promo Planning, Production, Creative, and Corporate partners.

  • Support ongoing process improvements in flyer and guide planning.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, marketing, or advertising.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills.

  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to customer‑centric execution.

  • Knowledge of Canadian Tire and/or retail environments is an asset.

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 – $88,000.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
