About Vault Capital

Vault Capital Inc. is a growing commercial lender focused on CMHC-insured multifamily financing across Canada.

We combine institutional underwriting standards with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a boutique platform.

Our goal is simple: deliver exceptional execution and a client experience built on trust, responsiveness, and quality of work.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a high-performing Commercial Mortgage Analyst with 1–3 years of CMHC underwriting experience to join our growing team.

Reporting directly to Managing Director, this role is ideal for someone who’s confident in their technical abilities but also thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment. You’ll be a key part of a platform that values precision, professionalism, and proactive communication — both internally and with clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze, structure, underwrite and fund CMHC-insured loans across multifamily, retirement, and student housing, including term, refinance, and construction transactions.
  • Deliver high-quality financial models, credit analyses, and CMHC submissions that reflect Vault’s commitment to excellence.
  • Liaise directly with borrowers, brokers, and third-party consultants — ensuring timely, professional communication throughout the deal cycle.
  • Identify and resolve issues before they become problems, maintaining Vault’s reputation for reliability and execution.
  • Support the build-out of internal systems, templates, and underwriting standards as Vault continues to grow.
  • Collaborate closely with origination, credit, and servicing teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience underwriting CMHC-insured loans across various asset classes.
  • Deep understanding of CMHC guidelines, underwriting methodology, and the funding process.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — able to present information clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • A service-first mindset: responsive, organized, and committed to delivering on promises.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a track record of producing polished, accurate work under pressure.

Why Join Vault

  • Play a key role in building a modern CMHC lender with institutional standards and boutique agility.
  • Work directly with experienced leadership and see your impact on every transaction.
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
  • Hybrid work model with flexibility and professional growth opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Vault Capital Inc. Please note that due to the volume of applications, only those under consideration will be contacted for an interview. We are committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities. Should you require accommodation, we will partner with you to meet your needs.
