About The Role
HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for a strong Commercial Account Assistant to effectively support the busy account workflow for our Surety Practice in downtown Toronto on a 6-month contract. This is an ideal role for an individual who is responsive, can handle a high volume of work, and has strong customer service. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in learning and supporting a growing niche market.
What You’ll Do
- Preparing and processing surety bond documentation across Canada
- Answering client queries and communicating with insurance companies
- Uploading documentation to various systems and setting up electronic client files in Epic
- Maintaining an effective abeyance system
- Assisting and supporting Account Managers and responding to client inquiries
- Helping where required and performing all other duties as assigned by Account Team
Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success
- Typically, 2 + years of administrative support experience required
- RIBO Licensed an asset
- Surety knowledge or experience as an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook, and other technologies i.e. Adobe
- Strong organizational, time, and client management skills
- Detail-Oriented with strong initiative and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written
- Strong team player
- Proactive and customer-focused approach

The expected salary range for this position is $20/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
