POSITION

Mission

The Commercial Analyst plays a key role in supporting Ontario sales performance through demand planning, inventory management, and commercial analysis. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, and acts as a key point of contact with the LCBO for forecasting, pricing, and supply-related matters.

This position offers the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the beverage alcohol industry, while contributing directly to the growth of the Moët Hennessy portfolio.


Reporting & Location

This position is based in the Charton Hobbs Mississauga, Ontario office and reports to the Senior Regional Manager, Ontario.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Lead demand planning for MH brands in Ontario in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Maintain and update sales forecasts; monitor inventory to ensure optimal in-market stock levels
  • Consolidate and report monthly rolling shipment forecasts
  • Lead monthly S&OP meetings for the province
  • Manage product allocations and coordinate with LCBO Supply Chain to optimize shipments
  • Support special orders (vintages, end-of-year, consignment, private imports)
  • Ensure product availability aligns with commercial priorities


Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and analyze sales performance; provide insights on trends, variances, and promotional effectiveness
  • Prepare weekly sales updates, monthly reports, and business review presentations
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends
  • Conduct ROI analysis on promotional and commercial initiatives
  • Translate data into actionable insights to support business decisions


Pricing & Administrative Support

  • Lead pricing analysis and modelling, including LCBO pricing submissions
  • Prepare and submit pricing letters; monitor pricing competitiveness
  • Manage purchase orders in coordination with MH Customer Service and LCBO
  • Support administrative processes including tenders, trade agreements, and compliance tracking
  • Monitor and follow up on LCBO-related processes (e.g., submissions, payments, system updates)


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will have approximately 3+ years of experience in a commercial, analytical, or demand planning role, with strong analytical capabilities and a demonstrated ability to translate data into insights.


Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI is an asset
  • Experience with LCBO systems (e.g., MPTS, NISS, Discovery/Vendor Portal, MicroStrategy) is an asset; experience with similar supply chain systems is also considered
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Other

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry is an asset
  • Fluency in English required; French is an asset
