Job Title: CMM Programmer
Job Summary
Develop and maintain CMM programs for product inspections, fixture verifications and gauge calibration.
Responsibility
- Knowledge of programming software and techniques.
- Understand and apply GD&T concepts and Drawing Interpretations
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of the CMMs, fixtures and probing systems.
- Create, backup and review programs for effectiveness, efficiency and revisions are current.
- Operate / Program/Train and evaluate results of the CMM or applicable gauges.
- Create and update operator instructions for fixtures and running of programs.
- Manage CMM data collection and archiving.
- Perform in-process, first off and receiving inspection as required.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma.
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum of five years of experience performing metrological inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming CMM using Calypso or PCDMS Software.
- Proficient in GD&T and Blueprint Reading.
- Competent in the use of CAD Data and 3D Models.
