We are seeking a skilled Cloudera Support having WinForms experience to join our team and contribute to the development of software

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Improve existing software
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in managing Kafka/ELK/Gemfire cluster
  • Handle all Kafka/ELK/Gemfire environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning, troubleshooting and ongoing monitoring.
  • Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Kafka/ELK/Gemfire cluster
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support.
  • Must have strong knowledge in Unix shell 

Preferred, but not required:

  • Banking/ Financial domain experience
