Job DescriptionTo provide clinical leadership with demonstrated clinical expertise in the nursing care of the critically ill adult. To work in partnership with the Patient Care Manager and the Professional Practice Leader to create a positive, safe, evidence-based clinical practice environment for the care delivery team. To orchestrate and co-ordinate daily unit activity.
Qualifications- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS required at time of hire
- Current ACLS required at time of hire and ongoing
- Critical Care Certificate required OR met according to CCSO standards
- 5 years of critical care experience preferred
- Demonstrated previous experience in a CRN role preferred
- Dedicated to promoting and supporting inter-departmental relationships within the organization such us Infection Control, Occupational Health & Safety and CCOT
- Knowledge, skill and judgement to support care delivery of the Advanced Level 3 ICU patient population
- Able to support and communicate effectively with the Physicians and Allied team members
- Exceptional ability to engage staff and promote team building
- Able to lead and demonstrate LEAN philosophy through process improvement initiatives
- Able to demonstrate reflective practice and opportunities for self-improvement
- Demonstrate a willingness to respond to incivility within the workplace and act on any potential codes of conduct or violence in the workplace
- Positive, proactive perspective with a commitment to family/patient centered care.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence with strong clinical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to direct, support, instruct and lead others.
- Strong organizational skills.

Hours: Monday to Sunday; 12 hour day shifts, (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $45.56 to $63.35 per hour
