Job Description

AECOM Canada is searching for a Claims Management Manager for a full-time position based at Mississauga.

  • Coordinates the interface with other program controls disciplines and with program delivery with the intent of effectively coordinating change management.·
  • Providing oversight and assurance on the application of consistent change management practices within a particular program.·
  • Responsible for providing quality control and assurance of change requests and other related change documentation.·
  • Responsible for reporting change management information to the program’s Leadership and Executive teams and identifying items for escalation.·
  • Responsible for maintaining change management trackers and logs for the program and working with the program delivery team to communicate change decisions.·
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and collaborating with the other change coordinators to implement actions.·
  •  Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.
  • Authorizes claim payments and ensure timely disbursements, coordinating or conducting investigations on insurance claims, identifying claims with possible recovery from third parties, and consulting with attorneys, doctors and agents in regards to the disposition of complex claims.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related claims management experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Typically, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in change management from a program controls perspective in major infrastructure programs.
  • Demonstrable knowledge, understanding, and experience across a variety of program controls disciplines incl. schedule, cost, risk, and scope management.·
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills both verbal and written.·
  • Recognized degree in project/program management or related field.
  • PMP, or other project management related certification considered an asset.
