Job Description:

What will you work on?
As a Indirect Procurement Category Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement team's efforts. You will help ensure Spin Master obtains the best combination of pricing, service, and quality across indirect spend categories for various goods and services, driving cost reduction and operational efficiency.

How will you create impact?

  • Create and execute global procurement strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.

  • Design and execute sourcing events (RFx), analyze supplier proposals, and manage post-award supplier activities.

  • Partner with business units and the legal team in the negotiation of contracts and agreements (e.g., MSAs, SOWs).

  • Prepare analysis and reports on spend data, market data, and cost modeling to support strategy development.

  • Issue purchase orders utilizing the e-Procurement system and administer supplier approval and setup.

  • Facilitate the implementation of procurement initiatives by driving cross-functional team collaboration.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and assist in measuring supplier performance.

What are your skills and experience?

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in category management and/or strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services.

  • Experience with contract management and a working knowledge of contract law is an asset.

  • Experience with SAP procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes.

  • Direct exposure to the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred.

  • Project management experience.

  • Travel may be required.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $80,000 to $90,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
