Essential Functions
- Lead Canadian sales performance across assigned product lines, with a strong focus on share growth and profitability across core markets and strategic segments.
- Build, develop, motivate, and energize a high-performing team of sales professionals through coaching, clear expectations, and performance management.
- Drive talent planning, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development to ensure strong coverage and scalable growth across Canada.
- Build and expand the distribution network, including distributor recruitment, enablement, and performance management across key geographies and verticals.
- Integrate ZOLL and distributor business planning to accelerate AED sales growth and improve execution across Canada.
- Manage and motivate distribution channels through strategic territory planning, product training, joint sales calls, and disciplined opportunity management.
- Travel throughout Canada to call on current and prospective channels and end-user customers, including distributors, sales representatives, managers, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate leads, orders, and quotes through medical distributors, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners, ensuring responsiveness and a high-quality customer experience.
- Conduct product and program training for distribution channels as required to improve capability, consistency, and conversion.
- Develop and execute an annual sales action plan aligned to corporate priorities, including segmentation, targeting, pipeline coverage, and close plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing to build and execute market-facing plans that drive awareness, demand generation, and distributor pull-through.
- Attend national and regional trade shows, customer events, and internal sales and marketing meetings as required.
- Maintain routine communication with distribution partners and ZOLL support personnel to ensure alignment, visibility, and issue resolution.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM discipline, including timely updates on pipeline, key opportunities, risks, and competitive activity.
- Provide monthly business updates and quarterly results for staff meetings and business reviews, including clear insights, actions, and performance trends.
- Complete required administrative responsibilities accurately and on time, including reporting, documentation, and other internal processes.
- Exemplify ZOLL values through customer-first leadership, integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to execution excellence.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience selling capital equipment or comparable solutions required
- 7-9 years of demonstrated success in quota-carrying sales, preferably in medical device, public safety, emergency response, EHS/safety, or adjacent solution-based selling required and
- 4-6 years of sales leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and building high-performing teams required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong experience selling through and with distribution partners, including joint business planning, enablement, and channel accountability.
- Proven ability to develop new and emerging markets and translate strategy into consistent execution.
- Defibrillator/AED experience is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong consultative, customer-oriented selling skills, including negotiation, objection handling, and closing discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and people-management skills; effective relationship builder with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- High integrity and strong ethics; results-oriented mindset with high standards and strong execution/finishing skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment with consistent follow-through, time management, and personal organization.
- Ability to travel extensively across Canada (approximately 65%).
- English fluency required; French language capability strongly preferred

The "at plan" compensation (Base Salary + Variable Incentive Compensation) for this position is:
$345,000.00 which includes a base salary of $145,000.00 and commission in accordance with the company's sales compensation plan.Details of ZOLL's comprehensive benefits plans can be found at www.zollbenefits.com.
