As the Business Systems Analyst you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will be a part of an exciting team responsible for translating concepts and requirements into client focused and effective system-based solutions. You will participate in moderately complex and diverse initiatives, formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding of the applicable business applications.
Technologies you have experience with:
- You have advanced knowledge of integration technologies such as API, Webservices, and event-based integrations supporting external vendor systems.
- You have knowledge of wireframe design including leveraging tools such as Figma, Draw.IO
- You are familiar with authentication including OKTA
- You have extensive experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
- You have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
- You are familiar with test management tools such as Postman, Zephyr, and can design, document, and execute test plans for end-to-end vendor integrations.
- You have working knowledge of Agile, Acceptance Test Driven Development or Test Driven Development (ATDD/TDD).
Participating in the preparation of business case and project planning by gathering required information and functional specifications, while working with the team and Business stakeholders.
Engaging project stakeholders to collect, document, and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules and processes required for moderately complex projects.
Providing analysis and specifications for required data and system integrations.
Performing review to develop the user acceptance test plan, strategies and may act as the overall test lead for small to medium initiatives.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) practice through research, piloting new techniques, streamlining testing and establishing more efficient processes.

You have three years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Salary information
Expected salary range $60,574 to $100,956
Salary placement
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Incentive/Variable pay
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
