Job Description

Responsibilities

Business Analysis

•       Gather and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders

•       Analyze current processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities

•       Translate business requirements into functional specifications and enhancement requests

•       Perform root cause analysis and propose solutions to improve application performance

•       Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for change requests and project implementations

•       Own change release to Production through the CAB process and schedule

Application Support

•       Provide day-to-day support related to F&O applications

•       Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and interface issues, meeting and exceeding SLA expectations

•       Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams for issue resolution and upgrades

•       Support month-end and year-end financial processing activities

Reporting & Compliance

•       Follow proper support process to log and track incidents, problems, and change requests

•       Prepare operational KPI reports related to the application operational performance on monthly basis

•       Assist with audit requests and compliance documentation

•       Ensure proper controls and segregation of duties are maintained

User Support & Training

•       Provide user training and support documentation

•       Assist users with functional operations

•       Create quick reference guides and knowledge base documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or above degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,  or related fields with at least 5 years Business Systems Analyst experience working on complex IT projects and support for Finance & Operations
  • Strong background in Accounting and Finance (solid knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, General Ledger, Financial Reporting , Intercompany Reconciliation, Corporate Budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury)
  • Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and process enhancement skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in change management, documenting test cases, and managing UAT
  • Good knowledge of Data modeling, system integrations, APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and cloud-based applications
  • Proven strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, including organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines while ensuring accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills including the ability to communicate effectively across various levels in multiple business functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Office, Visio)
