The Chief of Staff office in Microsoft Canada is looking for a Business Program Manager to support a national program with direct business impact.  The role will help operate a disciplined, repeatable engine for Microsoft Canada. This role will support intake, qualification, process management, compliance tracking, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement across the program.

This role is designed to give sellers more time back by moving coordination, process management, compliance tracking, author management, review closure, and submission readiness into a centralized operating model. The successful candidate will help ensure Microsoft commits to the right business outcomes, mobilizes the right One Microsoft team, and executes responses with clarity, accountability, and quality.


Responsibilities

- Support the end-to-end national program process from intake and triage through qualification, mobilization, content development, review, submission, and post-execution improvement.

- Help manage the intake process, including support tier, due dates, portal ownership, risks, stakeholders, and decision outcomes.

- Assist with structured opportunity qualification by assessing strategic fit, customer and business value, response effort, risk, mandatory requirements, and lessons learned from prior execution.

- Coordinate cross-functional engagement.

- Maintain workbooks and playbook assets, including; team roster, action items, author assignments, question log, compliance matrix, and calendar.

- Build and maintain compliance matrices, author matrices, program calendars, question logs, action trackers, review plans, and submission readiness checklists.

- Support governance cadences across key execution stages, including intake, kickoff, baseline, drafting, reviews, approvals, submission, archive, and lessons learned.

- Help reduce seller coordination burden by owning program cadence, tracking contributor actions, coordinating reviews, and ensuring closure of open items.

- Support development of proposal content by organizing inputs, identifying gaps, tracking mandatory requirements, and helping align responses to win themes and customer needs.

- Track program metrics and outcomes, including program volume, support levels, seller hours displaced, review completion, compliance readiness, submission quality, and reusable content


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional programs, proposal responses, sales operations, business operations, or complex deadline-driven projects.
  • Bilingual (French/English would be considered and asset)

Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $69,600 - CAD $132,500 per year.
