About the Team 💰

Have you ever wanted to explore a career in sales, but weren’t sure where to start? If so, then the Flinks  Sales Team could be the perfect place for you. We’re looking for several Business Development Representatives who will contribute to the continued growth of our North American operations by creating top of the funnel opportunities for our Sales Executives.

What You'll Be Doing 🔥
  • Clearly communicate the value of our software platform by showcasing its new and existing capabilities, addressing customer needs, and sparking interest.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using a strategic, multi-channel approach, including cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and more.
  • Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing efforts, while proactively sourcing and nurturing outbound leads, converting them into high-potential opportunities for Sales Specialists.
  • Use advanced tools and creative tactics to identify and engage companies and contacts that align with the ideal customer profile.
  • Establish strong connections with prospective clients through daily research, personalized communications, and consistent outreach efforts via email, calls, and social media.
  • Meet and surpass daily activity metrics such as cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Stay organized by consistently updating and maintaining CRM records in HubSpot, adhering to established processes and best practices.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Sales Specialists to align strategies, share insights, and deepen product knowledge for more effective prospecting.
Who You Are 💪
  • 1-2 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in SaaS.
  • Eager to learn and passionate about pursuing a career in tech sales.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in previous roles.
  • Exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in consultative selling and build productive relationships with diverse groups.
  • Self-starter mindset who isn’t afraid to overcome objections and challenges.
  • Creative strategist with a propensity for creating compelling messaging and content.
  • Experience using CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce, with an ability to quickly adapt to new sales tools and technologies. 
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in the fintech industry. 
  • Knowledge of financial services, open banking, and fintech companies in Canada and the United States.

Compensation Range
  • For experience and qualified hires, the base compensation range is $52,000 to $78,000 CAD annually. As a part of the total rewards package for this role, Flinks offers BDRs a competitive commission structure in addition to Health & Dental coverage as of Day 1, Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO), a hybrid work environment from our offices in the heart of the financial district at King & Yonge, and much more.
