The Business Development Associate provides essential sales support to internal, hybrid, and external sales executives serving clients across central Canada. This early‑career role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the wealth and asset management industry while developing strong client support, sales enablement, and analytical skills. You’ll work closely with hybrid sales executives and play a key role in helping the team strengthen relationships with advisors and prospects.
**This Hybrid role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in Toronto, Canada**

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales meetings, events, and related logistics. Gather and organize metrics to support reporting and analysis.
  • Assist the sales team with updating, auditing, and enhancing client and prospect information within CRM systems.
  • Respond to routine or moderately complex inquiries from existing and prospective clients with professionalism and care.
  • Manage administrative tasks, follow‑ups, and client requests so sales executives can focus on external engagement and relationship building.
  • Research solutions to client needs, analyze performance and market data, and prepare summaries or recommendations as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects, team priorities, and other duties that support the broader sales organization.

Education & Experience:

1-2+ years of relevant work experience preferred (internships and co‑ops welcome).

Undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platforms is an asset.

Nice to have:

Investment Industry experience.

Experience Completion of the Canadian Securities Course

Experience in mutual funds and/or ETFs

Understanding of the Canadian advisor advice channel
