A Business Analyst (BA) is a dynamic individual who has an excellent technical background and is looking to transition into a fast paced, customer oriented, consulting role. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their strong interpersonal skills, be mature and confident when dealing with high level customer executives. We are looking for an individual who may not have the experience yet but are willing to step into a consulting role to grow at an accelerated pace.  This individual should be able to proactively seek guidance that helps solve our clients’ various issues. As there is a large interface with our clients, the position requires an individual who is comfortable and confident when working on-site or remotely with our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding for problem solving and is looking for business-related experience.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with clients on various short term consulting projects
• Take guidance from more senior staff to be able to solve customer problems
• Take part in several remote implementations including the implementation and training of various Prophix solutions
• Provide product expertise and guidance to internal and external customers
• Work independently and proactively to manage customer issues and to assure the highest levels of customer satisfaction
• Respond to inquiries pertaining to customer’s business problems
• Work on internal project work, under the guidance of the PS team

Required Qualifications

• A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
• Accounting experience is a definite asset
• Two (two) or less years of relevant work experience
• Must possess strong business and entrepreneurial skills
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational ability is required as the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Must be comfortable working in a project environment interacting with senior level executives including CFOs, VPs and other line finance staff
• Must possess a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and be familiar with the financial statement preparation process.  Comprehension of financial concepts/terminology is required 
• Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
• Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
• Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
• Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

• 30 days: You understand our tools, product, and people
• Within 90 days: You work independently on meaningful tasks
• Within 6 months: You contribute ideas, improvements, and measurable impact

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $70,000 CAD to $85,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws in Canada and the United States. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
