What you'll do
The Transportation Ecommerce Operations Team is trusted with managing the relationship between the Corporation and all our Courier Partners. This involves managing the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce last mile execution, replenishment activities and all transportation that leverage courier small parcel. Our team creates, reviews and enhances standard operating procedures that support our daily operations. Our Team supports the ongoing development of our Courier Capacity; our goal is to build and support a reliable, robust, and dependable network of selected couriers that will help us to deliver a great customer experience.
Our team provides strong project management and subject matter expertise in support of multiple key initiatives across all banners in support of the Corporation’s True North Strategy. Key pillars we support include all ecommerce initiatives, creation and support of courier center of excellence, constantly enhancing our courier network’s capacity, coverage, service levels and cost effectiveness.
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative, self-directed Business Analyst to perform a critical role in delivering process improvement initiatives, supporting a courier center of excellence, providing analytical support and insights to help us increase courier capacity, improve service levels, reduce costs, and drive better decisions.
Lead and support data migration initiatives, including transitioning data from SQL Server environments to enterprise data warehouses (e.g., IHUB), ensuring scalable, reliable, and analytics-ready data models.
Design and implement data integration pipelines across multiple environments, connecting and working with diverse data sources such as: SQL Server, Oracle, IHUB, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Snowflake
Enable seamless access to data across platforms, ensuring data quality, governance, and consistency across systems.
Lead and support data migration initiatives, including transitioning data from SQL Server environments to enterprise data warehouses (e.g., IHUB), ensuring scalable, reliable, and analytics-ready data models.
Design and implement data integration pipelines across multiple environments, connecting and working with diverse data sources such as: SQL Server, Oracle, IHUB, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Snowflake.
Enable seamless access to data across platforms, ensuring data quality, governance, and consistency across systems.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as: Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Tableau.
Use of Agile Project Management methodology to lead analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of key initiatives in support of strategic goals and objectives.
Collaborate successfully with key stakeholders both internal and external acting as a liaison and a change agent driving efficiencies and better decision making for our portfolio.
Work closely with multiple ecommerce teams from across the corporation and other key supply chain business teams developing strategic processes and solutions
Turn large sets of data into meaningful information
Map current processes, determine alternative methods, create simulation models to test alternatives and build robust process working closely with multiple stakeholders
Adhere to strict deadlines in support of project implementations and solution designs
Contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainable process documentation that demonstrates due diligence and compliance
Act as a change agent or subject matter expert for change initiatives
Participate and help make key decision in multiple RFX processes.
Lead and facilitate regular business reviews and brainstorming session
What you bring
A University degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
Proven experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science roles
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Project and Change Management skills
Strong written and verbal communication, as well as solid presentation skills
Advanced user of standard desktop tools including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Project and Visio
Proven experience as liaison between multiple stakeholders.
Transportation business knowledge Experience in a Supply Chain role (CTR) with a minimum 2-4 years in a Supply Chain project or analytical role
Knowledge of Project Management methodology and/or experience (both Agile and Waterfall)
Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools
Financial knowledge
Courier and Carrier operational knowledge
Past working experience on ecommerce (supply chain, home delivery- last mile, technology, etc.)

Our typical hiring range is between $53,000.00 and $88,000.00 per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
