Position Summary:


The Brand Manager - Therapeutic Dermatology is accountable for leading the Canadian launch and ongoing growth of a priority specialty dermatology brand. This role translates patient, prescriber, competitive and market insights into a differentiated brand strategy, robust brand plan and high-impact omnichannel tactics that improve patient outcomes and strengthen Galderma’s leadership in dermatology. The Brand Manager partners closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Finance, Regulatory/Compliance, agencies and global teams to build an aspirational brand plan, financial forecast, define key performance indicators, monitor launch and in-market performance, and rapidly optimize plans based on data, field insights and customer feedback. The role also identifies opportunities to advance Galderma Canada’s integrated dermatology strategy through disciplined execution, strong cross-functional alignment and compliant customer engagement. 


Essential Functions:

  • Lead the Canadian launch strategy and execution plan for a priority specialty dermatology product, ensuring clear positioning, customer segmentation, launch milestones, resource allocation and success metrics. 
  • Build and execute annual brand, tactical and omnichannel plans grounded in patient, prescriber, competitive and market insights, aligned with local business priorities and global strategy. 
  • Develop, pressure-test and maintain a robust financial forecast, including clear assumptions for patient flow, uptake, market share, persistency, pricing, and access 
  • Monitor launch and in-market performance through KPIs, dashboards, sales results, market research, field insights and financial tracking; identify performance gaps and recommend timely corrective actions. 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Finance, Regulatory/Compliance, global partners and agencies to ensure aligned execution across the full customer and patient journey. 
  • Establish strong relationships with dermatology Key Opinion Leaders, professional organizations and relevant external stakeholders to generate insights, strengthen advocacy and support appropriate scientific and educational engagement. 
  • Translate market trends, customer feedback, payer dynamics and patient support insights into actionable recommendations, communication platforms and differentiated brand tactics. 
  • Manage marketing budgets, promotional mix and agency deliverables to maximize return on investment while maintaining financial discipline and clear accountability. 
  • Lead localization of global assets and manage the MLR/PRC review process to ensure materials are accurate, compliant and ready for timely launch execution in Canada. 
  • Plan and coordinate congresses, advisory boards, customer engagements and field enablement activities to support brand objectives and execution excellence. 
  • Collaborate across Galderma business units to execute integrated dermatology strategies that align with organizational priorities and leverage cross-portfolio synergies. 
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, agility and adaptability while modelling behaviours consistent with Galderma’s Four Commitments, company standards and policies. 
  • Perform other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support departmental and organizational objectives. 

 

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA is an asset. 
  • 8+ years of healthcare marketing, specialty pharmaceutical, biologic, rare disease or launch experience preferred, ideally in the Canadian market. 
  • Dermatology experience is an asset, with demonstrated ability to engage dermatologists, allergists and other relevant specialists. 
  • Strong commercial launch capability, including strategic planning, positioning, segmentation, customer journey mapping, tactical execution and field force enablement. 
  • Strong financial acumen with experience building forecasts, defining assumptions, managing budgets, assessing ROI and using performance data to guide investment decisions. 
  • Proven ability to monitor performance, interpret quantitative and qualitative insights, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend practical action plans. 
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align Sales, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Finance, Regulatory/Compliance, global teams and external partners. 
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex brand, financial and performance information clearly to senior stakeholders. 
  • High learning agility, accountability and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced launch environment. 
  • Ability to work independently while building strong internal and external partnerships to deliver outcomes with urgency and discipline. 

The annual salary range for the role is $118,000 - $130,000 CAD.
