As our Brand Manager of Innovation, you will lead the launch of several innovations while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers and our retailer partners. You will lead market research, competitive analysis and forecasting to prioritize innovation and will own project timelines, key milestones and project status tracking. You will foster new ideas and lead the team in bringing innovation to market successfully while creating industry leading products and mission innovation that shape our growth strategy.  

In this role you will: 

  • Project Management – Develop and manage timelines and key milestones to achieve successful product launches. Support in cross-functional project management, and communication of project status across the organization.  
  • Data Analysis & Market Research – Lead on market, competitive, and consumer research projects to help support your innovation projects and product optimization. Provide and implement business recommendations to internal stakeholders from your analysis of consumer insights and industry data. Build and maintain analytical models and reporting templates (Excel, dashboards, automation tools) to streamline monthly and weekly project tracking, forecasting updates, and insights delivery. Identify opportunities to implement AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy across innovation workflows.
  • Communication– Collaborate and effectively manage relationships with internal cross-functional teams, and vendors to develop and execute programs that align with company goals, objectives, and strategies. 
  • Product Launch Support – Lead on revenue forecasting and pricing analysis to position new products in the market, and support in the development and procurement of key launch materials including internal team training and marketing assets.
  • All other duties, as assigned 

We’re genuinely excited about you because you have:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing analytics, customer marketing, innovation, or project management 
  • Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or pet industry highly preferred 
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience using tools like Excel for forecasting 
  • Strong project management skills to support a rapidly growing business with multiple cross-functional stakeholders 
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, passionate and enthusiastic to work in a fast-growing company 
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada (approximately 10%)

Hybrid Work 

At Open Farm, we believe in the power of collaboration, meaningful connections, and enjoying our work together—furry friends included! That’s why we’ve adopted a structured hybrid approach that allows you the benefit of a reduced commute while still building strong workplace relationships. Currently, all employees are expected to be in the office two days per week at minimum, with Tuesday and Thursday as our anchor days. In addition to this, each month our Leadership team dedicates three consecutive days onsite to continue to foster alignment and connection across the team. During this time we expect everyone to join us in person to do the same. Please note: our hybrid approach may evolve over time as we adapt to the needs of our team and business.

Compensation: 
 
The hiring range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 annually, with final compensation thoughtfully aligned to your experience, skills, and the value you bring. At Open Farm, we know great people don’t always fit a mold, so role scope and compensation may evolve to reflect your unique strengths. This position may also include additional rewards such as performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
