As a Billing Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our external clients, directly impacting revenue management and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Job Description

What you’ll do
  • Collaborate with Revenue Team members to provide monthly invoicing to all external clients.

  • Distribute invoices promptly via Oracle Fusion, third-party portals (Ariba, Coupa, Fieldglass), and/or email.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers regarding monthly invoicing.

  • Partner with Treasury, Revenue, Sales Operations, Education, and Tax teams to ensure billing accuracy.

  • Provide customer support for special requests, inquiries, and disputes related to invoicing.

  • Perform monthly reconciliation for Accounts Receivable and ad hoc reconciliations as needed.

  • Assist with audit and SOX request items.

  • Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjustment entries/credit memos.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in team training.

What you’ll bringRequired
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.

Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with third-party invoicing portals (Ariba, Coupa, Fieldglass) is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a technology or SaaS company is advantageous.

The Canadian CAD base salary range for this full-time position is $52,000 - $65,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
