Summary
We are looking for a Billing Analyst to undertake billing operations in our Revenuedepartment. We’ll count on you to issue invoices with a high degree of accuracy to
guarantee our revenue.
Our Billing Analyst should have a keen eye for detail. Your goal will be to monitor
accounts receivable and ensure we bill our customers correctly and timely.
Job Description
Job DescriptionWork closely with the Revenue Team members to provide monthly invoicing to all
external clients for the Company.
Distribute invoices in a timely manner via Oracle Fusion, 3 rd party portals (Ariba,
Coupa, Fieldglass) and/or email.
Build and maintain relationships with external customers as it relates to monthly
invoicing.
Collaborate with other functions (Treasury, Revenue, Sales ops, Education, Tax)
to ensure billing accuracy.
Provide customer support in regards to special requests, inquiries and/or
disputes regarding invoicing.
Perform monthly reconciliation for Accounts Receivable account.
Ad Hoc reconciliations as requested.
Assist in Audit and SOX request items.
Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjustment entries/credit
memos.
Update job knowledge by participating in team training.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2 - 3 years of combined SaaS billing or accounting operation experience in private industry and public accounting.
Professional services billing experience is a plus.
Experience within the software and technology sector is preferred.
Knowledge of current US GAAP regarding revenue recognition
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions
Strong time management skills, self-starter orientation, and ability to operate with a sense of urgency.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate Excel skills are required, with the ability to work with, analyze, and interpret large volumes of transactional data.
Experience with Salesforce and Oracle Cloud/Fusion applications is preferred.
