The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Administrator is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment, hiring activities and overall operational support. You’ll use your superior organizational and reporting skills to support the senior Talent Acquisition leadership.

What your day looks like:

  • Management of recruitment information in systems and files, including contracts and employee files
  • Creation of written offers for employees and contractors
  • Completion of background checks as required, such as credit checks, criminal checks, employment eligibility and references
  • Scheduling interviews, coordinating with the candidate’s availability, and hiring managers’ calendars
  • Create and maintain process and training materials for Talent Acquisition, as well as company-wide recruiting resources
  • Supporting the onboarding process, ensuring New Hire Setup Requirements notifications are issued and tracked
  • Supporting the TA team invoicing
  • Managing and responding where appropriate to the TA Recruitment mailbox
  • Providing updates to the Talent Acquisition team
  • Supporting the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with TA reporting
  • Participation in projects as assigned
Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Post secondary education in business or HR preferred
  • 4+ years of office administration, preferably in HR, Recruiting or Operations in a financial services company
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and professional acumen
  • Strong hands-on experience in applications used for documentation and reporting – Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, One Drive, etc. 
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deliverables and processes in a time effective manner
  • Flexible with a self-driven sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information respectfully and able to work through sensitive situations tactfully
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities
  • Respectful and considerate of others, including business partners, peers, employees, contractors and candidates
  • A team player who contributes to the team’s success
  • Fluent communication skills in English and French are required

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
