We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the Health & Dental portfolio within the Affinity business. This role plays a key part in maintaining and evolving our product shelf, ensuring it remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer and sponsor needs. The Associate Product Manager will collaborate closely with product leaders, pricing, underwriting, marketing, distribution, and operations to support product enhancements, market intelligence, and day-to-day product management activities.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong analytical skills, an understanding of insurance products, and a collaborative approach to driving product improvements and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
Product Support & Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a product SME, responding to inquiries and providing guidance to distribution partners, customer service, claims, and other internal teams.
- Interpret product contracts and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across channels.
- Partner with Marketing to support development and maintenance of product collateral, digital content, and advisor-facing materials.
Product Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with annual product reviews, identifying enhancement opportunities and contributing to product improvement recommendations.
- Support implementation of product changes, including regulatory updates, compliance requirements, and feature enhancements.
- Document product updates and ensure alignment across internal teams and stakeholders.
Business Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance, Account Management, and Technology to support new sponsor onboarding, product launches, and plan updates.
- Assist with business case development and implementation activities for new or enhanced offerings.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless execution across the product lifecycle.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to monitor trends, identify gaps, and surface opportunities for differentiation.
- Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations that support product strategy and portfolio growth.
Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide clear, concise updates on product initiatives, timelines, and risks to product leadership.
- Participate in governance meetings and support alignment across product, distribution, marketing, and operations.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive clarity and progress.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of experience in product management, insurance, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance concepts (Health, Dental, Affinity, Group, or Individual insurance experience preferred).
- Ability to interpret product documentation and translate it into clear guidance.
- Experience analyzing data and synthesizing insights into recommendations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment (three days in-office per week).

Salary range is expected to be between
