Job Summary:    

The Associate Product Engineer, Lifecycle Engineering position is responsible for performing product engineering activities within our semiconductor manufacturing environment. This position supports product monitoring, assists with yield analysis, and helps implement product improvements. The role requires fundamental understanding of engineering principles, technical skills, and analytical abilities to support semiconductor product quality and yield in the complex manufacturing environment. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Product Monitoring and Analysis (30%): 

  • Support monitoring of semiconductor product performance and yield 

  • Collect and organize product test data and quality metrics 

  • Assist with parametric data analysis and trend identification 

  • Track product deviations and performance issues 

  • Support product characterization and benchmark activities 

Yield Analysis and Improvement (20%): 

  • Assist with yield analysis activities and improvement initiatives 

  • Help collect data for yield loss investigation 

  • Support identification of yield limiters and detractors 

  • Participate in yield enhancement teams and activities 

  • Document yield improvement results and outcomes 

Product Issue Investigation (15%): 

  • Support investigation of basic product issues and failures 

  • Assist with data collection for problem analysis 

  • Help identify failure patterns and potential causes 

  • Participate in corrective action implementation 

  • Document product issues and resolution steps 

 

Product Data Management and Reporting (15%): 

  • Maintain product performance data and records 

  • Generate standard product reports and analyses 

  • Support product data visualization and dashboard creation 

  • Assist with product specification management 

  • Help organize test data and performance metrics 

Manufacturing Support and Coordination (10%): 

  • Provide product support to manufacturing operations 

  • Coordinate with production teams on product-related activities 

  • Support new product releases to manufacturing 

  • Help resolve production issues related to product performance 

  • Assist with product qualification runs 

Technical Support and Projects (10%): 

  • Participate in product-related projects and initiatives 

  • Provide basic technical support for established products 

  • Assist with product experiments and characterization 

  • Support cross-functional product activities 

  • Help implement product engineering changes 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field 

  • 0-2 years of experience in product engineering, test engineering, or related role 

  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor devices and testing principles 

  • Experience with data analysis and statistical methods 

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred 

  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor product engineering principles and practices 

  • Technical understanding of semiconductor device operation and testing 

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, statistical methods, and reporting techniques 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in technical work 

  • Good organizational and time management skills 

  • Effective written and verbal technical communication abilities 

  • Basic problem-solving capabilities 

  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows and product testing 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations and technical teams 

  • Willingness to learn and develop product engineering knowledge 

  • Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and device operation a plus ​​
