As the AI Process Engineer, Associate Director, you will play a key role in redefining how AI transforms enterprise operations, moving from isolated use cases to complete, end-to-end process reinvention. Leveraging the power of Lean Six Sigma, AI, automation, and other digital solutions, you will drive efficiencies, improve customer experience, and elevate impact. Reporting to the Director of Process Engineering, Automation, and Business Intelligence, this is an individual contributor contract role within the Process Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Identify high impact process improvement and AI opportunities through structured analysis, impact sizing, and alignment with business objectives.
Analyze end-to-end workflows to identify inefficiencies, manual effort, non–value-add activities, and potential technology leverage points for different types of solutions (e.g. AI, automation, etc.)
Assess AI/technology readiness by evaluating workflows for standardization, input structure, variability, and exception handling to determine suitability for AI, automation, and other digital solutions
Design tech/AI ready and optimized processes by standardizing workflows, structuring inputs, reducing variability, and embedding modular logic, ensuring seamless technology integration with appropriate human-in-the-loop controls and governance mechanisms
Define technology support models including tiered support services, escalation paths, SLAs, and support processes to enable prompt user assistance, performance monitoring, change management, and ongoing maintenance
Prompt engineering to design, refine, and optimize AI prompts that drive accurate, relevant, and high-quality outputs. Build prompt libraries, usage guidelines, and enablement frameworks to support consistency across AI-enabled workflows.
Facilitate process improvement workshops with business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment, uncover improvement opportunities, and co-design an improved future state
Train process engineers to identify and assess AI opportunities, assess workflow readiness, embed AI solutions into streamlined processes, and apply prompt engineering best practices
Lead program operations across the process engineering portfolio by tracking project status, surfacing risks, driving rapid delivery, and providing updates to stakeholders
Develop playbooks, frameworks, and standards to support technology enabled process transformations, ensuring execution consistency, quality, and scalability across the team
Champion process excellence best practices to elevate process maturity and performance
Support process engineering intake by triaging new requests, clarifying scope and success criteria, and engaging appropriate delivery partners
Identify and implement internal team improvements that enhance quality, streamline execution, and boost operational efficiency across process engineering initiatives
Independently lead and manage projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and timely execution
Create key artifacts including executive and detailed current state process maps, process analysis summaries, and future-state design flows, ensuring each artifact is tailored to its intended audience and purpose
Partner with business and technology teams including Customer Success & Innovation (CSI), AI Strategy, AI Delivery, and other technology delivery teams to collaboratively enable business goals
To succeed in this role, you have:
You bring a unique blend of process transformation expertise, AI and automation experience, strategic foresight, and technology enablement. Success in this role requires:
6+ years in leading process transformations leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce variation, standardize processes, and enable technology
1-2 years of experience leveraging and embedding AI solutions within workflows with a strong understanding of AI and automation capabilities, limitations, governance considerations, and process integration best practices
Strong workshop facilitation skills to guide cross-functional teams through complex business challenges, drive consensus, and align outcomes with strategic business goals
Executive storytelling and visual communication skills to translate complex process insights into clear, compelling narratives, tailored for senior audiences and framed with strategic clarity, visual precision, and outcome driven messaging
Enablement leadership to train process engineers, design AI process transformation playbooks, frameworks, and prompt libraries that reinforce quality and consistency
Strong leadership skills to build trust, influence outcomes, and drive meaningful change
Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is required
Change management and project management experience required
Capital Markets process knowledge is considered an asset
