Associate Data Developer, FinTech:

In this role, you will get to:
Participate in cloud migration and modernizing current data systems.
Support data systems that serve hundreds of millions of real time events a day.
Maintain and craft early warning and analytics systems using groundbreaking big data technologies.
Collaborate on building software that collects and queries data, while also composing queries for investigation purposes.
Analyze and provide data supported recommendations to improve product performance and customer acquisition.
Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues within data infrastructure.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Professional work experience in Software Engineering and development.
Proficient in applying search engines like Apache Lucene, Apache Solr and ElasticSearch.
Basic knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and RabbittMQ.
Experienced with strategies such as indexing, machine-learned rankings, clustering and distributed concepts.
Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $85,000- $100,000K CAD.
