ROLE OVERVIEW 

As an Associate Creative Director (Art) at The Kitchen, you’ll support the creative director to help lead a team of talented creatives to develop visually compelling, culturally resonant B2BC campaigns. Working alongside another ACD (Copy), you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of experts and client partners to craft ideas that move people and drive business impact. Whether it’s a campaign, tradeshow experience, social activation, eblast, digital banner, sell deck, or pitch deck supporting the marketing team, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping creative that captures attention, conveys information clearly, and inspires action for the away-from-home market. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Creative: Develop and execute campaigns across tradeshows, social, eblasts, digital banners, sell decks, and pitch decks, ensuring ideas are fresh, strategically aligned, and tailored to the away-from-home market. 

Team Management: Mentor and inspire a team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and content creators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

Trend Responsiveness: Stay attuned to culinary trends, restaurant-world conversations, social platforms, and broader cultural shifts, leveraging insights to deliver timely, impactful creative for B2BC audiences. 

Collaboration: Partner closely with clients as well as internal producers, strategists, data analysts, social media experts, and creative team members to craft ideas that work seamlessly across platforms. 

Client Engagement: Present concepts to clients with clarity and passion, building trust and enthusiasm for the work. 

Craft Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of creative execution across all deliverables, from social-first content to integrated campaigns 

Award Ambition: Drive the team to produce award-worthy work that sets industry benchmarks. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a creative role within an agency or in-house team, with a track record of producing high-quality, award-winning work. 
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire creative teams. 
  • Cultural Fluency: Strong understanding of social media platforms, cultural trends, and culinary/restaurant-world trends, with the ability to translate them into impactful B2BC creative. 
  • Creative Thinking: A portfolio showcasing big ideas, sharp insights, strong art direction, and flawless execution across a range of media. 
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to align creative concepts with client objectives and strategies. 
  • Presentation Skills: Confident and persuasive communicator, capable of presenting ideas to clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Agility: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly and deliver under tight deadlines. 
  • Passion: A genuine love for creativity, culture, and storytelling

The anticipated annual base salary range for the ACD position is $120,000–$145,000. Individual compensation within the base salary range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. The base salary range listed does not include variable pay or other elements of the total rewards program.
