Knix is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Performance Marketing to lead a team of digital performance creatives and drive efficient user growth. You will collaborate closely with our paid media teams, conceptualizing, executing, and iterating on ad creative that converts. As a leader within the creative team, you will ensure that campaigns help to build, evolve, and reinforce the Knix brand across North America and the world.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the internal performance creative team (i.e. writers, designers, video editors and photographers), and contribute to each campaign.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, and behaviours to inform strong creative development.
  • Understand media channel objectives and goals to ensure optimal ad performance.
  • Measure effectiveness of advertising & develop optimizations strategies for improving performance by channel.
  • Partner with the creative, integrated marketing, acquisition, retention, and e-commerce teams to develop inspiring, strategic, and effective communications briefs.
  • Ability to influence and get buy-in for your ideas with leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Inspire, challenge, and motivate the team to develop consumer marketing communication.
  • Develop processes to ensure cross-functional collaboration & intra-marketing team success.
  • Lead the planning, organizing, and management of resources to successful completion.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of agency and/or client-side consumer marketing experience.
  • Experience managing end-to-end creative development for advertising assets, with ability to effectively communicate creative concept ideas to designers, writers and editors.
  • Passionate and obsessed with performance marketing.
  • Proficient understanding of performance marketing channels & user acquisition KPIs.
  • A growth mindset with a healthy mix of imagination and business acumen.
  • Whether it’s writing, shooting, scripting, recording, or sketching, you are a creator at heart and love to make things that people want.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
