Job Description:

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic Associate to support the Brand Activations team in delivering flawless client projects. In this role, you will help manage all aspects of project execution, maintain clear and consistent communication, and contribute to creating engaging, positive consumer experiences. The position reports to the Director of Brand Activations.

You Will:

  • Event Management: Assist with on-site responsibilities including but not limited to venue walkthroughs, floor plan management, Brand Ambassador briefings, and managing set-up & tear-down.
  • Vendor Communication and Management: Communicate with a variety of external suppliers in a clear and concise manner to secure the best assets for our clients and inform our project planning.
  • Financial Management: Comfortable working with budgets, submitting expenses and invoices, and assisting with reconciling a project.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Collaborate with team members on client key learnings and recommendations and contribute to post-event reporting including event recap presentations.
  • Creative Thinking: You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and have your ideas and voice stand out.

You Have:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing or other related field of study. Degree/certificate in Sports Management would be considered an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in event management and execution. Brand ambassador work is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in creating impactful presentations and comfortable speaking in front of peers / stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to efficiently manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends & outdoors in a Canadian climate as required
  • Must be willing to travel and have a valid Ontario driver’s license

The salary range for this position is $56,250-$75,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
