Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Supplier Quality Management, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management / Supplier Development / Supplier Quality/ Purchasing for a Tier 1 automotive supplier
- Proficient in IATF 16949 and automotive OEM Customer Specific Requirements.
- Proficient in problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Drill Deep and Wide, Six Sigma...etc.).
- Proficient in AIAG core tools: PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, drives for improvement and possesses strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple commitments and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to travel internationally on short notice as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads the supply chain management team in executing best practices and measuring performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based upon the division's Business Plan.
- Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction and Company goals.
- Ensures Suppliers conduct their activities according to the Magna Global Supply Chain Requirements.
- Supports all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary direct materials and services needed to meet the changing levels of production demand.
- Works with production, purchasing, quality, and logistics departments to ensure 100% on time delivery and product quality.
- Leads Continuous Improvement, VA/VE, and innovation in the supply chain in alignment with business strategy.
- Oversees and optimizes inventory within the supply chain to reduce carrying costs.
- Proactively monitors and manages risks in the supply chain.
- Collaborates with Logistics and Purchasing departments to minimize Total Delivered Cost.
- Leads team to ensure compliance to Magna's world class Mafact & MQS standards within functional area and throughout supply base.
- Maintains ownership of APQP / Launch management to achieve flawless launch for all supplier related activities, on time PPAP's, run at rate etc.
- Monitor and develop suppliers (potential, new and current suppliers) for cost, quality, delivery to meet the Companies' requirements. Manage solutions to supplier quality & delivery and cost issues.
- Ensure that supplier related audits and assessments (CSR / ISO / IATF / Mafact/ CQI / MQS/ MAQMSR/Finance/ Tech Reviews) on potential, new and current suppliers are current.
- Ensure suppliers are set up to comply with SAP, Supply web, eRFX & QPF.
- Ensure supplier annual validations are uploaded at QPF on time.
- Follow up on supplier complaints and ensure QPF is updated with on time responses.
- Visit suppliers to performs assessments, run at rate and verifications of corrective actions.
- Maintain database of all material suppliers' Quality Management Systems certifications.
- Lead activities for correcting the performance of problem suppliers based on QPF rating and Delivery performance.
- Provide management reports as necessary.
- Comply and participate in monthly Health & Safety Quiz.
- Comply and participate with suggestions and Continuous Improvement program.
- Actively and positively support the continued practice of Common Values behaviors.

- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
