Responsibilities:
  • Write clean, scalable code using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to build and maintain apps that players rely on every day
  • Get involved in real technical decisions and help implement architectural patterns that keep our Android codebase consistent, solid, and built to scale
  • Take part in code reviews and peer learning, share what you know, pick up what you don't, and grow alongside a team that genuinely invests in each other
  • Own the quality of your work by delivering well-tested software that hits the mark on both performance and requirements 
  • Collaborate closely with testers, product owners, and designers to bring features to life the right way, making sure every release aligns with the bigger product vision
  • Show up to agile ceremonies ready to contribute, whether that's sprint planning, technical refinement, or flagging risks before they become problems
  • Help keep the codebase in great shape by spotting technical debt and jumping in on initiatives that make the development workflow faster and smoother
  • Explore the latest technologies and Android SDK updates, and help build prototypes that push the player experience to the next level

Salary: $100,000-$130,000 CAD

Qualifications Experience Preferred 2-5 years of of Android development experience Proven track record of contributing to apps shipped to the Google Play Store Excellent command of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow Experience with Jetpack Compose and the modern Android UI toolkit Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management workflows Great communication skills, you can break down complex technical concepts for both engineers and non-technical stakeholders without missing a beat Bonus points if you've worked in iGaming, sports betting, or another regulated industry
