In the Business Data and Analytics Administrative Department, you are part of a dynamic team of data specialists who contribute to various mandates and priority requests for the sector. You do this by providing tools and support aimed at making optimal use of data. As a senior data valorization advisor, you contribute to the use and valorization of data collected through the various channels. You give meaning to data by extracting, describing and analyzing it in order to facilitate business decision-making. You are comfortable building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. More specifically, you will be required to:

Help clients define their data needs, make recommendations and provide advice for selecting, implementing and using data management tools.

Work autonomously on developing effective queries to extract data from different environments and databases

Build and develop complex reports by using database management systems and make recommendations to support business decision-making

Perform descriptive and diagnostic data analysis for large-scale multidisciplinary projects

Synthesize and popularize complex and technical concepts for different audiences

What you bring to the table
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, business intelligence or a related field

A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including at least four years in a role related to business intelligence or data analytics

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Knowledge of French is required

Ability to present information in a clear, simple way

Proficiency in SQL/SAS and Power BI (or other data visualization tools)

Knowledge of IBM Cognos
