The Analytics Department’s mission is to design, manage and facilitate the implementation of the data valorization strategy for Desjardins Group’s Risk Management Executive Division. Its goal is to achieve our strategic direction of grounding our practices in analytics and preparing for the future. As a senior risk management data valorization strategy advisor, you serve as an expert advisor on developing the Risk Management Executive Division’s data valorization strategy, as well as on identifying, prioritizing and implementing data valorization opportunities for the sector. More specifically, you will be required to:

Play a key role in developing and implementing the Risk Management Executive Division’s data valorization strategy.

Identify opportunities to valorize data and evaluate the potential impact in terms of Desjardins Group’s directions and business priorities.

Prioritize data valorization opportunities, define solutions and develop an analytical roadmap that is integrated with Desjardins Group’s business plan and strategic vision.

Explain complex analytical concepts in simple terms and promote risk management analysis work.

Coordinate analytical work with colleagues across disciplines and sectors.

Ensure delivery teams are aligned in terms of the design and development of highly complex analytical solutions.

Develop indicators and monitoring approaches for analysis initiative performance. Identify issues. Make recommendations to decision-making bodies.

What you bring to the table
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in data valorization, including three in a similar role
-
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Academic specialization in data science or a related field
-
Experience developing and implementing analytical solutions
-
Experience implementing major, complex, transformational projects
-
Knowledge of French is required
-
Knowledge of risk management and analytics
